The foundation of a quality finish
A professional finish starts with the wall. We prepare surfaces properly so the paint or whitewash looks even and well applied.
Overview
Surface preparation is the unglamorous part of painting, and it is also the part that shows in the final result. Cleaning, filling, sanding and priming all help the new finish look consistent.
We include preparation in painting quotes where it is needed, and we can also quote preparation as a defined scope when walls are in poor condition.
Skipping this step is how jobs end up looking patchy. We would rather do it properly.

Prepared walls take colour more evenly.
Defects are dealt with before the finish coat, not after.
Houses, apartments and commercial interiors all benefit from proper prep.
If the walls need more repair than expected, we will tell you before proceeding.
Clear scope so you know what to expect before work starts.
Every painting job follows the same clear steps, from quote through to final inspection.
01
Call, WhatsApp or email us with the property type, service required and approximate area.
02
We review the walls, ceilings or exterior surfaces and confirm the preparation the job actually needs.
03
Cracks are filled, surfaces are prepared and colours are confirmed before the finish coats go on.
04
We apply the finish, tidy the work area and check the result with you before the job is complete.

Standard preparation is included in the quoted painting scope. Extra repairs are discussed if the walls need more work.
We will point it out and quote the extra repair rather than painting over a failing surface.

Fill hairline cracks and minor wall damage before painting so the finished surface looks even and well prepared.
